  1. Instrument switch

A little bit late but I made a tutorial showing how to do it. Regards, Kraznet
  2. Instrument switch

Hi Emmanuel, Try inserting a short midi note in the midi editor that corresponds with the vowel you want to switch to and see if that works. That usually the way one uses key switches to change sounds during a track. Regards, Kraznet
  3. New kid in town, newbie problems

Hi @Evael Niden , Regarding the virtual this issue had been reported by a few users including myself. However there is a fix here if you look at this thread here : With regard to your unresponsive GUI I'm afraid I am unable to reproduce that and at this time not really sure what the solution would be for you. Regards, Kraznet
  4. Some Independence Questions

I think you made the right purchase decision. I respect Garritan products very much. Also you can always use the Magix Vita String Ensemble which isn't too bad and I think it uses Kirk Hunter samples. Regards, Kraznet
  5. BitMachine UI not showing up

It's been fixed in the latest beta and will be in the next update ( I have no info when the update will be released) Regards, Kraznet
  6. Some Independence Questions

In short you need to pay for the library if you want to use it in other DAW's. If you contact Magix it's possible they may give you a discount. I made thread about this awhile back. Regards, Kraznet
  7. SysEx input is globally disabled!

It happens occasionally. You should click "yes" to fix it if you want Samplitude to recognise sysex input. Regards, Kraznet
  8. Trying to delete section of track: HELP ME

I've been rather unwell for the last 3 weeks with the nasty chest infection and was not really capable of functioning but I'm finally feeling a bit better now. Regards, Kraznet
  9. Trying to delete section of track: HELP ME

Alternatively If you want to "ripple delete" you can try using Ctrl+ Delete and the gap will be filled by the audio on the right. Regards, Kraznet

  11. Dear Mister Kraznet.
I tried to send you this message a number of times, so forgive me if you got a bucket of it, but this website behaves strangely with screen readers.
Anyway, I have this issue with punching on midi tracks which I posted a while ago on this forum and noone seems to be able to help me.
If you haven't seen it already, can you please have a look there,

thanks for helping if you can.
    Kind regards,

  12. Vocal Comping [SOLVED]

This shouldn't be happening I just did a test project containing drums and electric piano. I then recorded a few passes of bass and opened it up in the Take Composer. Did some quick comping and of course I could hear the comping I was doing relative to the song in the VIP as well. This should be working by default so I'm not quite sure why you're having problems. Regards, Kraznet
  13. Vocal Comping [SOLVED]

Okay sorry I misled you. I forgot there are options in the Take manager to "filter too short takes" which I had activated. So when this is unticked takes which are not the same length will still show up in the Take Composer or take manager. Here's what it says in the help:
  14. Vocal Comping [SOLVED]

Yes I'm not sure it was always that way. I will do some further tests. Regards, Kraznet
  15. Vocal Comping [SOLVED]

Hi Larry, Yes to confirm what Scott has just stated. You don't necessarily need to record in loop mode. However in order for the takes to be available for comping they need to be of the same length. So I suggest you set up punch in and out markers and enable punch mode on the transport and turn of loop (if it's on). Then you can record at your leisure without worrying about recording in loop mode. Regards, Kraznet
